Who is this for?

You are exposed to a million different ideas about health and wellness every day and feel overwhelmed, skeptical, and exhausted.

You are interested in this group because you understand that food plays an important role in your body's function and overall health, but you’re not quite sure about the specifics. You want to educate yourself on nutrition basics and learn how your food choices effect your own body specifically, so you can form your own wellness strategy. You want support and accountability in a group setting as you journey towards a more healthful lifestyle.

 

By the end of this 6 week course you will understand:

  • Why hydration is important and how to stay on top of it.

  • The difference between Micronutrients and Macronutrients and how to optimize each in your diet.

  • How to put together a healthy and well-balanced plate of food.

  • How to eyeball a serving size.

  • Smart snacking skills.

  • Why mindfulness and intuition matter in health and how to incorporate into your life.

  • The value in getting enough sleep and creating routine and ritual around your sleep schedule.

  • How to honor your nutrition goals and still dine out with friends without guilt.

How does it work?

6-week Nutrition Bootcamp
May 18 - June 29, 2019
Saturdays from 10am-11am*

We will meet once a week in an online group call where I’ll give a small lecture on the topic of the week, followed by the opportunity for questions and group discussion. Between group calls you’ll have access to a private Facebook group for continued discussion and peer support as you tackle your homework and make new discoveries! I will also follow up with a recording of each group call emailed to you weekly for you to revisit if needed.

*Time of call is subject to change if group majority is better available at a different time.

 

What is my responsibility?

Show up. Be present. Be open to the process of learning and patient with yourself as you acquire new nutrition skills.

Technical side of things:

  • Group calls will be held on Zoom (I will send you a link once registration is complete)

  • Join the private Nutrition Bootcamp Facebook group (I will send you a link once registration is complete)

  • Be sure you are in a place with reliable internet access for our calls

  • There will be weekly homework assignments based on course material (fun and easy, don’t worry!)

  • Tuition must be paid in full before first call on May 18th, 2019
